Accessibility statement

Everyone should be able to find health information and contact the practice, whatever their ability or the device they use.

Our commitment

This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Accessibility is reviewed whenever pages are added or changed.

What has been done

  • Text and interface colours are chosen for sufficient contrast
  • All pages and forms can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
  • A “Skip to content” link is provided on every page
  • Form fields have labels, hints and error messages linked for screen readers
  • Images have text alternatives, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers
  • Animations are reduced or removed if your device asks for reduced motion
  • Pages work when zoomed to twice the normal size, and on small screens

Known limitations

Some uploaded documents, such as scanned referral letters or medical images, may not be accessible to screen readers. If you need information in another format, please ask.
